Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and sensitively managed with the environment in mind, Otter Falls is a real haven for wildlife. So don’t be surprised to find our oasis of calm interrupted by the calls of water birds on the lake, deer barking in the woods or a buzzard crying overhead. Just within the estate boundary you could see roe deer, badgers, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, and many other smaller animals and mini beasts. If you’re really lucky you may even see an otter playing on our river bank.
No wonder our many returning and regular guests include wildlife watchers and also Twitchers who come especially for the number and variety of British birds to be spotted in this serene location.
